Privacy policy
This policy explains what Oakhurst Labs (formerly AXG 3D Technologies), a technology company in Oakhurst, California, collects through oakhurstlabs.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only. Work we do for clients, including any access we have to client systems and data, is covered by our written service agreements.
What we collect
When you send the contact form
We receive your name, email address and the message you write. We use them only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to do the work you ask for. We don't add you to a mailing list.
When you visit the site
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and which links and
buttons they use. It sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_…) and
sends Google details such as the pages you view, the links and buttons you click (their text, never
what you type into the form), your device and browser type, and your approximate location, which
Google works out from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
Our web host, Netlify, also processes your IP address and basic request details, as every web server does, in order to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
The fonts and map data on this site are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn't send anything to Google Fonts or any map provider.
Turning analytics off
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we don't load Google Analytics at all and set no analytics cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way.
Who else handles your information

Both may process data on servers in the United States and other countries. We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising, and we don't give it to anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to reply to you and to keep normal business records, and we delete them sooner if you ask. Google keeps analytics data for the retention period set in our account, which is at most 14 months, and then deletes it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We'll answer within 45 days and won't treat you differently for asking. California residents have these rights under state law, and we extend them to everyone.
Children
This site is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Form messages are stored in our Netlify account, which only our staff can open.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
